1. Dad - Following up from last night he had a scan on his Gall Stones which confirmed the problem. I've been doing a few searches on the Web today to find out which foods are good & which to avoid, learnt a bit.
Anyway the bad news is they are moving him from the 5* Bupa hospital to York District to keep him under observation until the inflammation dies down then he can come home. I'll even after pay for parking at the new place. It also looks like he may after eventually (6 months time) have to undergo surgery on his Gall bladder. In the meantime he needs to get his new hip working.
2. Weight Loss/Fitness - Nothing new to report on the exercise front, visiting my parents and the fact its done nowt but rain as seen to that. So I'm trying to control my eating, here is todays intake :-
Breakfast - 2*Weetabix, 1/2 portion Strawberries, 1/2 portion Blueberries, 1/2pint Orange Juice
Mid Morning - Banana
Lunch - Soup (Vegetable), 2*slice of bread.
Mid Afternoon - Coffee, 2*biscuits.
Dinner - Jacket Potato, Baked Beans.
Supper - Glass of Milk, 2* Crackers with a slither of Cheese (love cheese).
All drinks throughout the day other than those mentioned have been water.
3. Music Choice - For tonight we'll go back to the swinging sixties to the classic girl group with their most famous hit "Leader of the Pack" -

Sorry to hear the news on your Dad, Gallstones are extremely painful as I'm sure he knows.
It was interesting you mentioned on the last post you put hot water on you Weetbix, I do that as well to cut down on the calories.
Celtic,
In a way its a good job he had a flare up while in hospital, they'll now do something about it. His attacks have been getting more often over the last couple of years but he's been avoiding going to the Docs.
I don't think weetabix needs Milk especially if you have some fruit on it, a good healthy breakfast I reckon.
