Time to get the rocking chair out

Its that time of year again when I feel old, yes its my birthday tomorrow, another year on the clock.

To be honest I dont know what to say about the last 12 months and I'm unsure where the next year will take me. I feel like I'm at a crossroads and don't know where to go.

Happy birthday Mick. Not knowing what's ahead can be a good thing. I hope the year ahead has pleasant surprises for you.

Mick, I know it's been a rough year for you. Take care of yourself. I wish you the best in the year ahead (did you celebrate with a nice pastry?)

Arlene,
In some ways I'm excited about the year ahead despite not knowing what direction I'll follow if that makes sense.

Celtic,
Reckon I'll visit Aus sometime thats for sure.

Reg,
No pastry but treated myself to a bacon sarnie.

Cactus,
40 years and a few months (144 months to be exact).

Mick, no birthday cake?? And you're only 40? And what's a "sarnie?" I'm nothing but questions.

Reg,
Sarnie is just a local slang word for sandwich.
