Treating Myself

I've been shopping today, I thought I'd treat myself before my Chicago trip next week. I spotted a couple of shirts I liked in a sale so I bought them. I've loads of short sleeved one's but if anything I reckon I haven't enough long sleeved, thats my excuse for spending money anyway.

Ok they are straight out of the packet and need ironing but what do you think ?

While I was out I also treated myself to a Pineapple, its a fruit I love but don't get very often. I'll probably eat it Friday night.

Both look very nice Mick, I particularly like the top one. The Hubster just doesn't seem to like checked shirts, stripes yes. I got him a lovely blue Ben Sherman, with a wide check on it. Has he been near it? Has he nelly!

HANDSOME FELLA!
I think I like the top one better, although they are both good looking.

I hope your Chicago trip is wonderful! Your blog friends enjoy your company. So I hope you will be seeing some more!

I look forward to more pictures~

Thanks for continuing to check my blog despite my absence from it. It makes me feel good that you're still checking it.

I like your new blog title; also the picture that accompanies it.

I think you look great with both shirts. Like the other 2 ladies, I prefer the top one,

Have fun in Chicago.

Weeeeell seen as you asked, i'm a person who loves colour. Bright colours, primary colours. The bolder the better & Lots of it!
So my personal opinion would be that those shirts are as boring as heck, and they don't match your cheeky personality at all!

But you're looking good :o)

After having another look...You need warm blues with a pattern other than tartan. Maybe some peppermint greens with bolder stripes.
Not brown, yuck. Those shirts that you are wearing say, "Don't approach me for a good time because i'll bore you to death."

Still love me after i said all that? lol

Airlie,
A lot of people go for stripes nowadays but personally I have more checked shirts. I think it stems from the Ben sherman styles when I was a teenager. I've got a few BS shirts they are always decent quality.

Rebecca,
Yeh I like the top one its a real soft material, really comfy. I've nothing concrete to see any online friends but maybe I'll catch up with a couple this year. As you know I'm happy to meet any of them so if I'm in any of their areas I'd love to meet up always.

Hi Arlene,
Nice to here from you, I'll do my best to have fun in Chicago, I'm sure you will read about it.

Suzy,
Thanks for your comment.
It certainly takes the stress out of organising when you can get some lovely ladies to do the organising.

Cactus,
Thanks for your honest opinion, I don't mind that.
To be fair I'm not big on brown myself, the photo is a bit misleading its more reddishwith a tint of yellow in real life.
Saying that I disagree with bright colours they are for summer, dark colours for winter, thats my theory anyway.
Anyway boring suits me.

Boring does not suit you!! You don't have a boring personality at all!
What do you mean that drab colours are for winter? Bright colours brighten winter. Oh gee, it must be a girlie thing lol
John only likes wearing blues, whites and greys, And he thinks i always look like a hippy. Anything with colour above pastel is "hippy" to him! lol

What's your MySpace URL?
