Just wondered what everyone thinks is a ok age gap to date someone (thats older and younger) ?
The reason I ask is there is a bit of a age gap with Paula and myself but I'll add we are getting on great and it doesn't seem like a problem. I'm just surprised its actually happend.
A couple more questions along the same line -

The biggest age gap was when I was 28 and I dated a man who was in his 40's. I've also been 36, dating a man in his mid-20's. I don't take age gaps very seriously.
(Today I leave for my bi-coastal trip: California, then New York City. After this I hope to not visit either of those places for a good long time. Just not my favorite parts of the country. I'm a big Travel Whiner.)
The biggest gap i've had is 10 years my senior [i was 17 and he was 27]. I think the older we get, the less the age gap matters.
Like John is 5 years older than me. If i were 16 and he were 21, that would be a big problem. But at 40 and 45, it's no big deal.
As long as you guys feel comfortable that's all that matters. [unless she is 16 ;o)

I am very sorry for your loss. Let me know if there is anything that I can do. You must know that she is not in any pain and is in heaven with God.

15 years my senior - always had a thing for older men, and no i don't have daddy issues as some people would probably suggest!!! i just think that a more mature man is more my style, they are less likely to be caught up on issues that young guys get stuck on...
never dated anyone younger than me, ever!
at our age, really, does it matter that much, i suppose there is the children side of things, if she's young enough to want them etc but hey, this is all stuff that can be sorted easily and i would be going with the flow and not worrying about age!

Thanks for the comments ladies was just interested with what you all thought, really fallen for Paula think she is what I've been looking for.
It just was nagging at me that I need to not get too involved cos she may lose interest because of the age gap (she's 14 years younger).
To be fair she as shown no signs that age is a problem in fact she as tried to reassure me that fact so I should just go with my feelings and see where it leads.
