As many of you who know me and read my blog on a regular basis lets jst say the last 12 month hasn't been the greatest of my life but maybe the next year will be much better.
As some of my closer friends know i've one burning issue still to resolve, something i can't/wont blog about but I'll just say wheels are in motion and things should be moving on sooner rather than later.
As for dating again lets just say things are maybe moving forward and i've options, will probably say much more following my holiday when things could happen, a few decisions to make in my mind and dont want to tempt fate by blogging about it.
Paula and myself are still very good friends, we haven't moved apart for any other reason other than we have different priorities in our lives at this stage, we have met up for a drink more than once as friends and done lots of chatting, we both know the direction the other is heading. Sure it hurts me to move on, we had some great times together certainly never fell out, in fact we agree on the fact we both got hard act to follow, lets see where the future leads.
On another note thinking of starting to play golf again this year, still actually a member of the club even though not been using it, need to decide before june when i need to renew, not sure will try play a couple of rounds weather permitting after my Croatia trip.

Weigh in Wednesday - Another Pound
The scales this mornng show that they are still movingin the right direction althoug just another single pound lost. Starting to think about getting under the 200lb barrier although may be awhile with a holiday coming up in less than 2 weeks so every chance of a blip.

Had a good day at TT on sunday t was Yorkshire League won both our matches 7-3 which insured we stay in the top division for next season. More inportantly I've played some tough competition without having to put up with a lot of pain in my knee afterwards, I'm happy about that.

Yes I'm feeling good helped of course by a 3lb loss this week, feel i'm back on track. Now weigh in at 209lb long time since i dipped under 15stone.

My Adventures
"My Adventures"
Well thats the name of my blog based on my determination to see the world and I've not lost the hunger, been busy making plans. You all know I'm doing Route 66 in October this year well thats a long way off so gonna slip a couple more trips in.
So two new countries are on the agenda for me to visit, Croatia in May followed by Austria in August and don't think I've finished there.

Weigh in Wednesday - Expected Gain, now to fightback
Story so far :-
Got back from a weekend away yesterday and to be honest I felt fat, a few days of big breakfasts, big dinners and a few drinks and there was only going to be one result at todays weigh in. I'm sort of happy to report its only a 2lb gain but also I know I've got to fightback straight away and need to report a loss this time next week.

Weight increase isn't the only bad thing to happen this week I damaged the car, only a few scratches to the wing but will have to touch it up. Was my own silly fault parked in a very tight spot in a public car park and had to get close to a concrete post. Knew I had to manouvre carefully out but just jumped in car a drove forward before I remembered.
While I was away turned off my hot water to save money, turned it on when i got home filled the tank with hot water then later in the evening left a tap running (long story) and proceeded to empty the tank completely.
Lost my over 40's Pool singles last night, sort of blaming been tired cos I was horrendous missed so many chances to win. Have been playing well lately but that was one for the horror show.
As I've said previously Easter was always gonna be my time for moving on from my relationship with Paula, I didn't want it to happen but we've talked and she just can't commit. We are still good friends and she suggests we could meet for a drink/meal sometimes, I'll think about that one, maybe in future I'll see but now is time for moving on.
And some good news :-
I'm planning to meet up with a online friend, we've not met before and she seems nice, was just chatting online last night and she asked if i fancied meeting over a coffee, so i thought why not what harm can it do, cant have too many friends. So future plans to be made and a date cast in stone, no rush though i ain't diving into anything.
Just got my Gas/Electric bill and am pleased they are cutting my monthly payments by £25, better in my pocket I say.

Weigh in Wednesday :- Exercise holds the key
I'm disappointed but not surprised to report hat I've not lost anything this week although at least I've not gained either. I say not surprised because I will admit I've struggled to eat as I should, just found it hard to get back into the good habits since my holiday.
Think this week will also be hard as I'm away for a few days over easter, its for a 40th birthday (not mine that long gone lol) so bound to be a bit of over eating and drinking.
